you'll be able to invest more money in improving your excavator. Specifically, you'll be able to increase its length and add oil to it so it goes farther each time you release it. Pick the Gold doesn't seem to give you a very clear objective when you start your first game. However, for some strange reason, its simplicity makes you want to continue starting new excavations in order to find out what score you'll be able to get.
